[Daanz-dip] [DAANZ Dip] GonCon Debate

If you want to be in the P.F.D, you'd have to *really* hate the Romans.

I guess I can weigh in with one serious opinion.

While I generally prefer the company of adults to children myself,
you can't go changing rules most of the way through a year. If a
tournament is going to explicitly exclude certain people - anyone -
from competing, that would otherwise be eligible for DAANZ awards
under that year's rules, then it can't be affiliated by the DAANZ.

It can still go ahead, and may a great time be had by all.

If the matter bothers people that much, propose it next year at
the AGM, vote on whether you want DAANZ awards in general to be
restricted to only a certain subcategory of humanity, *then*
tournaments can have that same restriction and fully expect DAANZ
approval.

Y'all know that's the right way to do things. Regardless on whether
you think this particular thing is right or wrong, you even have to do
wrong things the right way.
