LOL.  Funny stuff Tristan.  Good to see a sense of humour in the fray.

Actually, the GM and 'Venue Manager 'for the proposed GongCon would be 
different people.
I will be the GM and Tournament Director.  The 'Venue Manager' will be my 
girlfriend (and part owner of the house).  Generally when it comes to the 
house, she wears the pants.  She has told me that I can run the tournament 
here "as long there are no kids running around" that she has to worry about.

I just figured it would be polite to advise people of the situation up front 
and the DAANZ can endorse or reject my proposal with all facts available 
taken into consideration.  I didnt think this would be such a big issue.  I 
mostly expected to come under attack for the tournament format or scoring 
system....but I suppose its early days yet.
