[Daanz-dip] ANZAC Cup - Final Standings

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament. On the whole, I found it
extremely enjoyable. I feel extremely lucky to have won - there were three
other 18s in this tournament, and there were a lot of other quality players in
the tournament. It's not often you get to go 17-17 with someone, and I've never
seen an 18 as Austria, also being the inaugural tournament, makes it a special
win.
I'd also like to thank Bill who allied with me for most of the game in Krithia
and made it possible for me. Had things worked out differently could well have
won himself.
A big thank you also to Greg. The hand adjudication of the game (surprisingly
there was a fair few misorders) I'm sure meant that this took up a lot of
Greg's time. For me it meant getting to play a full tournament, something that
for various reasons I wasn't able to do this year (and will probably struggle
to do again next year). If Greg decides to run it again I will definitely be
back to defend my title. To those who didn't participate, I thoroughly
recommend it.
